Passion for Love

March 25th 7.30pm to 9.15pm

Passion for Love is an evening of music and word with the All Souls Ensemble and Dr Michael Ovey.

All Souls Ensemble is a hand-picked group who are all members of the world-renowned All Souls Orchestra.  The All Souls Orchestra has its base at All Souls church, Langham Place and has a long and illustrious history of events in venues all around the UK and overseas, including an annual sell-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The Ensemble is drawn from the core of young professional musicians that give their time to the Orchestra, all of whom are gifted in a wide range of styles.  They come together for this special evening of music and word in a light entertainment style.  Led by reader and Orchestra member Liz Booth and featuring American soprano Sarah vander Ploeg, the programme is a thoughtful and fun mix of songs and readings contemplating various aspects of love. Dr Michael Ovey will share with us the world’s greatest love story.

Sarah vander Ploeg, a post-graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, is an extraordinarily versatile artist with repertoire and experience that ranges from Opera to Nashville, with much in between!

Dr Michael Ovey, previously a lawyer, trained at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, and worked as a curate for four years at All Saints Crowborough. In 1998 he joined Oak Hill Theological College and became Principal in 2007.

Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £3.00 for children (concessions available) and include light refreshments during the interval. To purchase tickets or for more information about this event phone Andrew on 0207 482 7111 or email hrcpastor@talktalk.net
