A community centred on the good news of Jesus.

A small church family in Kentish Town who gather to listen to God’s Word, worship together, and share the good news of Jesus. Whether you’ve been a Christian for years or are just exploring faith, you’re very welcome.

What we believe

The good news of Jesus Christ is found in the Bible — God’s inspired and trustworthy Word.

It tells us that we were created for relationship with God, but through turning away from Him, our world became broken and marked by sin and death.

Yet God has acted to put things right through His Son, Jesus. Jesus died for our sins and rose again, offering forgiveness and new life to all who trust in Him.

One day He will return to make all things new and bring His Kingdom in full.

We are an independent evangelical church affiliated with the FIEC and hold to their Basis of Faith. Find out more here.

Our Story

Highgate Road Chapel first opened in 1877, built to serve the growing community of Kentish Town through the vision of James Coxeter. It quickly became a place where local families and workers heard the good news of Jesus.
Over the years the church flourished, sent missionaries abroad, and endured seasons of change. After the old building fell into disrepair, it was rebuilt in 2008.

Today we continue the same mission begun over a century ago - to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the people of Dartmouth Park and beyond.
